Hello, my name is Silver Tap. I’m a handsome gray Thoroughbred gelding, foaled May 11, 2018, right here in Kentucky. My sire is the legendary Tapit and my dam is With Intention, a pedigree that gave me this striking silver coat and athletic build. I raced a little before life sent me looking for a softer landing.
Mane Characters welcomed me with open arms, and I quickly found my herd: Siena Sunshine and Race Day Bay (Bailey). We’re known around here as the “Tapettes” because of our shared Tapit bloodlines, and we love hanging out together in our big pasture. I’m the playful one who loves to run and roll, but I’m also gentle and sweet with the humans who come to visit. From the racetrack to wide-open Kentucky fields with my best girlfriends, this is the retirement I always hoped for. No more pressure, just sunshine, friendship, and the freedom to be myself. Every horse, a tale to tell. Every tale, a Mane Character. And mine is written in silver and second chances.
